Augsburg
Here are just a short selection of the numerous attractions: City Hall with
the Golden Hall, Fuggerei (oldest social settlement in the world!), Schaezlerpalais with
Rokkokosaal, open-air stage, numerous museums, botanical garden with Japanese garden,
Olympiakanustrecke "Eiskanal", and much more.
Munich
Munich is not only worth a visit during the Oktoberfest time. By car you
drive only 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can also use bus and train. Visit the famous museums (eg
Deutsches Museum , BMW Museum ) and the Frauenkirche or stroll through the English Garden, buy
fresh fruit on the famous Viktualienmarkt and make a real Bavarian snack with good beer in the
Munich Hofbräuhaus. Do not forget Munich's newest attraction and visit a guided tour of the Allianz
Arena , the modern football stadium of FC Bayern Munich.
Legoland
Legoland the big family destination (only 25 minutes drive away). Tickets
are also available at the Lech Camping reception for special prices.
