Camping Camp Redon


Family Camping Camp Redon is located near Cordes sur Ciel in the beautiful region of the Tarn. The campsites often have a magnificent view of the hills and regularly you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. Here is a great cultural wealth combined with a beautiful scenery that reminds many of Tuscany. One can find many medieval villages and historic towns such as Cordes sur Ciel, Albi and Gaillac.



The campsite has fifty places, divided into two fields. The patches often have beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. Due to the varied vegetation of the site there are shady spots and places with an open character. ENJOY THE PEACE... AND LOTS TO DO! Centrally located on the site are the modern sanitary facilities, with showers, toilets and washing cubicles. Each spot is equipped with a power supply. There is a washer and a dryer for general use. The campsite pool looks beautiful. Besides a separate children's pool, the pool features a spa.

Cordes-sur-ciel

One of the most beautiful medieval (artist) villages in France, the jewel of the bastides. In 2014, is elected by the French for being the favorite village in France. This perfect example of urban architecture of the early 13th century, the fortified town owes its name to the magnificent location on top of the Puech de Mordagne, above the valley where the river flows through the Cérou. In winter, spring and autumn the town often protrudes above the clouds and the fog, this is why in 1993 the original name Cordes (named after the Spanish Cordoba) was changed into "Cordes sur Ciel"

Albi

Albi is located in the Tarn department in the Midi-Pyrenees. Geographically, Albi is on the border of the Massif Central and the plains of the River Tarn. Albi is through the use of red bricks in the house building, known as the "Red City". The Saint-Salvi cloister church is the oldest monument of the city. Its construction began, before the Crusades against the Cathars, in Romanesque style, and was subsequently completed in the Gothic style.

Gaillac

This approximately 12,000 inhabitants place, is just as Albi on the banks of the Tarn. In the 7th century founded the Benedictine abbey on this site which was dedicated to St-Michel. Gaillac long benefited from the trade of merchant shipping on the river.
