Camping La Pointe

This is a family run campsite set in a valley on the edge of a Breton market town. About 20 minutes drive from the beaches of the bay of Douarnenez, it provides a calm , relaxed base for exploring the historic towns and villages, and the beautiful coastline of Finistere.

Campers can stroll or cycle along the canal into Chateaulin with its shops, bars, restaurants and weekly market, or sit and relax in the campsite grounds.

There are 60 spacious pitches almost all with electric hook up (10A) . Fresh bread and croissants are delivered daily and we sell seasonal produce and fresh eggs from our kitchen garden and hen run. Every Thursday in July and August we have a crepes night when campers can sample savoury and sweet crepes washed down with a glass of traditional Breton cider.

Places of interest nearby include the medeival village of Locronan, the fishing town of Douarnenez, the historic city of Quimper and the beautiful Crozon peninsular. Oceanopolis, the sea life centre at Brest is 40 minutes drive away.
