Our camping is situated just on the edge of the pretty village of Loyat, a village that has won several prizes for its flower arrangements. Le camping Merlin l’Enchanteur welcomes you in a calm and natural setting.
We have a covered heated swimming pool, opened in the summer months. We also have a baker with tempting French "patisseries", a grocery store, couple of bars, a butcher, a garage, hairdresser as well as a Doctor’s surgery and a dentist, all within 5 minutes’ walk from the campsite.
Come and enjoy spending time dining out in local restaurants, working off the fantastic French food on the nearby cycle track, adventuring around the legendary forest of Brocéliande, enjoying beautiful walks, a spot of fishing or just relaxing by the lake with a good book.

The Voie Verte
The Voie Verte is only 50m away from the camping. This well-kept cycle track was made on the old railway line between Mauron and Questembert, 53 km long. Beautiful scenic countryside. Perfect for bicycles, roller blades and walks. You can cycle to the Lac du Duc in Ploermel in approximately 15mins.
la forêt de Brocéliande
We are right on the doorstep of la forêt de Brocéliande. The Camping Merlin l’Enchanteur is the ideal place to discover Brittany’s Arthurian legend: Barenton’s fountain, Merlin’s tomb etc. The little ’commune’ of Tréhorenteuc with its ‘église du Graal’ and the ‘Val sans retour’, is approximately 10 minutes by car.
Brittany coasts
The privileged location of Camping Merlin l’Enchanteur will allow you to take easy trips to the Brittany coasts. Vannes and the Golf of Morbihan are at approximately 60 km. Saint-Malo and the English Channel at 100 km.
